Students gained firsthand knowledge about ready mix concrete design & Manufacturing and Health & Safety Procedure, adopted in the industry.

Welcome address given by MsP.Parvathi,HOD/CSE department. Assistant Professor Mr.V.Pandiyanathan delivered a speech on Engineers day. The Rounds that are conducted on the Quiz are, Technical Round, GK Round, IQ Round, and Visual Round & Rapid Fire. Four teams had participated on that event. The Winners are Team D and the Runner up is Team C. Associate principal Dr.M.Radha Krishnan & Dr.B.Anandam Pilai, Dean(CSE& IT) have distributed prizes & certificates to the participants. The Quiz was conducted by D.Nivethitha bharathi,A.Rabiyathul basariya and S.Jeyashree, Lecturers of CSE department.

The refresh programme II has been organized by the Civil Engineering Department on 11th Aug 2009 between 10.00am to 4.00pm. The Guest Lecture was given by Prof.G.Maheswaren, Associate Professor, K.S.RCollege ofEngineering, Tiruchengode. Final year Civil Engineering students participated and clarified their doubts. Prof.A.Chandran demonstrated elaborately about Staad Pro and gave training on the use of software in the afternoon. It was very useful and helpful to the students as well as the members of faculty.
