The college has signed MOUs with the following three companies:
- Converteam India Pvt. Ltd. ( A French MNC)
- Ramana Heavy Engineering Private Ltd.
- GIS Protection & Controls Ltd.
Converteam India offers scope for interaction for students of ECE, EEE and Mechanical branches.
Ramana Industries is basically a mechanical engineering company.
GIS protection & Controls offers scope of interaction for EEE branch students, as the firm specializes in the testing and commissioning of electrical equipment of HV and EHV substations. The company also undertakes erection work for substations. The Company has a long experience in dealing with gas insulated switchgear.
Basically the MOU covers guest lectures by the engineers from the industry, traininmg of students , project work for students, employment opportunities for SEC students. Setting up of special laboratories, is also covered. Ramana Industries will assist in the establishment of Entrepreneurship Development Cells and grooming of Student-Entrepreneurs.
Industry –specific training courses are also covered under the MOU.
It is planned to enter into agreements with more industrial establishments to attract
Industry—sponsored R&D projects. |

Sudharsan Engineering College by introducing the IBM
University Program.
The IBM University Program in a nutshell helps the
institute to integrate IBM technology education as a part
of/extension of their course curriculum, by which the
institute is ensured that students have access to and are
trained on the best software available today; with continued
access to future applications of IBM's breakthrough
technology.
