| Dr. M. Prabhakar, Professor/ Mechanical Engineering, is the Dean Academic of this college. He completed his B.E.(Mech.) and M.E.(Thermal plant Engineering) from Bharathidasan University during 1996 and 2001, and full time Ph.D. from NIT, Tiruchirappalli in 2010. He is also an M.B.A. (H.R.M.) from MK University(2002). He has 12 years of experience in engineering teaching and 2 years of experience in industries. His area of interest includes drop wise condensation, composite materials, and Solar energy. He has published 9 research papers in international journals and 11 in conferences. He has organized many national level seminars and workshops in the field of Mechanical Engineering. He is a life member of ISTE. |

| Dr. R. Palanichamy, is Professor & Head of Mechanical Engineering Department. He has 20 years of experience in teaching. He graduated in B.Tech.(Automobile Engineering) from MIT, Anna University, Chennai in 1989, M.Tech.(Thermal Engineering) at IIT, Madras, M.B.A. at M.K.University through Distance Education in 1999 and obtained Ph.D in 2011 (Heat Transfer) at Anna University Chennai. His areas of interest are Engineering Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer. He attended the ISTE course on Thremodynamics in Mechanical Engineering conducted at IIT, Bombay by Prof.U.N.Gaitonde and served as Remote Centre Coordinator for IIT, Bombay when he was in service at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi. He has handled more than dozen subjects for U.G. classes and two for P.G. students. He has published 2 papers in national journals, 2 in international journals, presented 2 papers in international conference and 4 in national
conferences. He has organized 3 national level seminars and workshops, and an STTP program. He has guided more than twenty projects for U.G. and P.G. students of which one batch received Best Project Award. He was a speaker in Tamil Debate under Salomen Pappiah at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi. He is a life member of ISTE. |

| Mr. A. Kumaravadivel, is Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department. He completed his B.E.(Mech) at ACCE&T Karaikudi in 1997, M.E.(Industrial Engineering) at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai in 2001, and is pursuing PhD in the area of six sigma at Anna University Tiruchirappalli. He has 12 years of experience in engineering teaching. His area of interest includes Quality and management philosophical subjects. He has published 2 papers in national journals and 2 in international journals (under review). He has published 4 papers in international and national conferences. He has organized many national level seminars and workshops in the field of Mechanical Engineering. He is a life member of ISTE. |
