Quiz Club
A quiz club has been started in our college. The club will be functioning to enthuse our students to acquire skills to participate in quiz competitions. This is a very much competitive world. The students are expected to possess wide knowledge in all the fields from science to politics and so on.
This club will offer a platform for students to get exposed to knowledge in various arenas and become competent enough to face the challenging world. It is planned to conduct many quiz competition by experts in the days to come. Students will be encouraged to participate in quiz competitions conducted by other institutions for which the club will give all necessary support. |

| QUIZ WHIZ` 11 |

As part of the Decennary Celebrations, the Quiz Club of Sudharsan Engineering College conducted an inter-college quiz competition QUIZ WHIZ`11 on 8th February 2011 at the college premises. There was a written test in the morning. Forty two teams from various Engineering Colleges took the written test and six teams qualified for the finals. Prof. G. Balakrishnan, former Vice Principal of St.Joseph College, Tiruchirappalli was the Chief Guest and Quiz Master for the finals in the afternoon. Mr. P. Preetham(IV ECE) welcomed the gathering Prof. D. Kalyanaraman, Coordinator of the club introduced the Chief Guest to the audience. First and Second prizes were won by teams from Mookambigai College of Engineering and third prize was won by team from Saranathan College of Engineering. Other finalists were given consolation prizes. Mr. V. Ramasubramanian (IV ECE) gave the vote of thanks.

| Inauguration of the Quiz Club |

The inaugural meeting of the quiz club for this academic year was held on Saturday, 24.7.10 in Hall No. 313, Sona Memorial Computer and IT Centre at 3pm.
Mr.V.Ramasubramaniyan, Vice-President of the club welcomed the gathering. Prof.D.Kalyanaraman, Co-ordinator of the club spoke and Mr.V.Ramasubramaniyan made a Power point presentation of quiz questions and answers on current topics in various fields. Mr. A. Sam Richardson, Asst.Sceretary gave vote of thanks.
