PLACEMENT
Following channels offer placement opportunities to the students:

Job fairs arranged by colleges, or organizations like CII, The Hindu.
The students are regularly provided with the information regarding the job opportunities in various channels. The director interacts with the coordinators of the departments and counsels the students about the programmes.
The T&P functionaries contact prospective employers for campus interviews.
The students are given counseling depending on their area of specific interest and needs of the employers.
The Director and the T&P coordinators keep in touch with the placement officers of other colleges to get information on off-campus interviews.
Books are purchased and given to students for better performance in Aptitude tests. Experts in the field are called to conduct personality development programmes. Students are given information on the market scenario.
Even for old students, the college tries to find opportunities and for this a good contact is kept with the old students.
The record of placements, since the establishment of the college, has been very good and this is one of the criteria by which the college is fast becoming a “Preferred College” for the students of this part of Tamil Nadu.
The college was started in the year 2000 and the first batch of students passed out in 2004.
Every student pursuing a professional career in engineering
has an ambition to obtain a challenging job in a company of
repute. It is the task of the Training and Placement Cell to
provide additional training to all students in specific fields
and train them to develop necessary softskills.
The college has a Training and Placement cell headed by a
Director with more than three decades of industrial
experience.
The Cell is involved in securing placements for students
passing out from the college. It is in constant touch with
various industrial establishments, which conduct pre-placement
presentation, campus interviews and select student
representatives from each department to coordinate the
placement activities.
The Placement Cell provides state of the art
infrastructural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests
and interviews. It has a library and a communication lab to
enhance the students' general aptitude and communication
skills.
Many companies visit the college every year for Campus
recruitment. In addition, our Students also participate in
common recruitment drives conducted in one of the colleges and
the central recruitment drive conducted by Anna
university.
Faculty Development Training
Training programmes are held to enable the teaching staff to enhance their skills in teaching. Specialist organizations like NITTTR, Chennai, are called in for training of faculty.
Also, micro teaching sessions are arranged for peer evaluation and enhancement of teaching skills.

M/s.Tricx Infotech, Bangalore, a software company had conducted a campus recruitment drive in our college on 11th Feb 2010 for Engineering and Arts and Science Disciplines..Around 200 students were participated in the drive from Engineering and Arts and Science disciplines. The Interview started with pre placement talk followed by Aptitude, Group Discussion and Interview. As declared officially by Tricx Infotech, 4 students from CSE, 7 students from CSE, 6 students from IT and 5 students from ECE got selected.
